I was born on December 13, 1983 to St. Aubyn and Jannette Bartlett. At that time both my parents were college students struggling to make it through school. They raised me and my older brother to understand the value of hard work and the rewards come with it.
My father, now Dr. St. Aubyn Bartlett MP, went on to get his doctorate and would eventually become a Member of Parliament in Jamaica as Minister of National Security.
My mother, Dr. Jannette Bartlett, went on to get her PHD and now works as a professor/researcher at the historic Tuskegee University.
I spent the first part of my career learning what it takes to be a successful front-end web developer. I have spent quite a bit of time at JavaScript meetups here in the Houston area sharing my ideas a listening to that of others around. The thing I love about what I do is that there is always something new to learn.
Here is some of the work I have done over the years. Some of the sites in this list are private, password protect sites that cannot be accessed. For those, I will only be providing Screenshots. The rest will have both a Link to the site and screenshots.
Everyone should have hobbies. Here are some of mine.
Tennis was my favorite sport growing up. I was even on my high school team. My team never won any championships but we truly enjoyed the game.
Bowling is a recent thing for me. When I moved to Houston, a few people from my place of work (Cosentino North America) decided to start a company bowling league. This is what got me started. Since then I have joined several more leagues and got a league championship under my belt.
Sketch art was my first favorite activity. It is the reason I chose to go into Graphic Design and is something I still enjoy doing today.
